Derivatization of peptides for their determination by chromatographic methods

We present a review of derivatizing methods suitable for the chromatography of peptides roughly divided by detection methods for the derivatizing reagents and followed by the binding site at the peptides. Usually applicable derivatization reactions are listed as well as highly specific and selective labelling methods. To help the chemist working on chromatography we summarized in a table the details on performing analyses in this field.
