Abstract
The characteristics of the derivative adsorption chronopotentiometric determination of adenine, adenosine and adenosine monophosphate (AMP) is discussed. The optimum experimental conditions for the determination of these compounds are selected and the linear ranges detected. The detection limits are 1.0 × 10−9 mol l−1 for adenine, 1.5 × 10−8 mol l−1 for adenosine and 4.6 × 10−8 mol l−1 for AMP. The method was applied to determine the content of adenine in the hydrolytic product of yeast-RNA with satisfactory results.
