Abstract
A method of approximate quantitative IR spectral analysis of organic compounds without the use of standard materials was tested as applied to artificial mixtures containing three and four components. The methodology of a non-calibration method of additive mixture analysis is suggested, which includes the calculation of absolute intensities of infrared absorption bands of components and measurement of an integral absorbance on spectral intervals. It was shown that at least in the case of a ternary mixture the computed concentrations can be used for an approximate estimation of the mixture quantitative composition.
