Abstract
In this paper, the problem of correcting chromatograms for dispersion is considered. This problem arises in high pressure size exclusion chromatography when two or more detector systems are connected on-line. This inverse problem is solved by an iterative method, in which convergence towards the solution is guided by the measured data, and which only requires forward solution of the transport equation. The solution method is relatively robust towards random measurement errors.
