Abstract
Microcavities in the visible wavelength region were fabricated based on ZnSe-based distributed Bragg reflectors and CdS quantum dots were inserted in the cavities. Strong coupling of photonic fields with the CdS quantum dots in the II–VI semiconductor microcavities was studied, and the Rabi vacuum-field splitting of View the MathML source was observed. The rationality of observing the strong coupling with the quantum dots is discussed.
