Abstract
A non-equilibrium Greenʹs function (NEGF) approach has been used to calculate the spin current and spin polarization of a two terminal mesoscopic system including a magnetic quantum dot. Numerical results show that spatial magnetization of the transport electrons can be controlled by the bias voltage in coherent regime. In this regime and for low magnetic fields bias voltage appears to be more effective than magnetic field for spin injection inside the dot.
