    Integration with external systems, such as problem solvers, is becoming increasingly important for ontology development and knowledge-modeling tools. The authorʹs JessTab extension lets you write Jess programs that manage Protege ontologies and knowledge bases. Protege is a popular, modular ontology development and knowledge acquisition tool.
