The symmetrization in the classical path approach applied to vibrational cross sections Original Research Article

The classical path detailed balance is imposed for a collinear and also three-dimensional atom-diatom vibrational collisions. Quantitative agreement with quantum results has been found and the condition of the detailed balance satisfied. The error for the three-dimensional classical path calculation was found to be, on average, less than 10%.
