  • Abstract
    Generation of WDM labels over payload has been demonstrated using optical carrier suppression and separation. Eightchannel DWDM payloads and labels with ER larger than 11 dB were transmitted over 200 km SMF-28 with small power penalty (<0.5 dB) and no error floor.
