Abstract
An integrated power and rate control (IPRC) algorithm is proposed. The IPRC algorithm can achieve the pre-specified rate for each user. Simulation results reveal that the IPRC algorithm results in larger throughput than the power control algorithm with outages and the number of iterations can be increased to further increase the throughput.
