  • Abstract
    We analyze theoretically the interaction of a weak air shock wave with a thin elastic screen and compare this with the numerical solution. We establish the range of applicability of the obtained analytic relations and propose a procedure for correcting the acoustic solution, making it possible to use it in the case of the wave of finite intensity.
