Abstract
A simple and direct synthesis of 3-alkenyl indoles from 2-azido-3-arylacrylates and terminal alkenes in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(OAc)2 were developed. The reactions were performed at room temperature using O2 as the oxidant resulting in moderate to good yields.
