Abstract
A new series of BINOL-derived multidentate Br?nsted acid catalysts has been developed for the enantioselective addition of the d1-synthon, methyleneaminopyrrolidine, to N-Boc imines, yielding the versatile, protected (alpha)-aminohydrazone intermediates in moderate to good ee.
