Some problems of calculation of energy spectra of complex atomic configurations Original Research Article

Methods for reducing the number of configuration state functions as well as for decreasing the orders of matrices being diagonalized and the consumption of computational time for their diagonalization are presented. These methods allow one to take into account more admixed configurations when considering complex electronic states of atoms. All approaches have been realized in computer codes and tested in extensive calculations.
