Abstract
We present a numerical method based on the generalized pseudospectral discretization in prolate spheroidal coordinates and split-operator time propagation. The method has been applied for the study of multiphoton processes of H+2 and N2 diatomic molecules in intense laser fields. It proves very accurate while using only moderate computer resources.
