Abstract
In this issue, Qiu and colleagues demonstrate in vitro and in vivo activity of a triterpene glycoside from black cohosh. The isolated compound acts as a suppressor of osteoclastogenesis, targeting specifically RANKL, a member of the TNF superfamily.
