  • Abstract
    A new proof of the existence of three function cognates of Stephenson II and two function cognates of Stephenson III mechanisms is presented, and a new class of overconstrained mechanisms of the 3RT3R Watt II type is described. In addition, some properties of four- and six-bar planar mechanisms are discussed, mainly in respect to the generation of functions.
