Abstract
The method of selection of proper stress–strain relations has been elaborate for the description of behaviour of silicon and aluminium bronzes and brasses during deformation in wide range of temperatures and strain rates. The method based on the structure and phase transformation according to phase equilibrium diagrams of investigated alloys. The mathematical model, which can be applied for describing the fundamental stress–strain curves, was proposed. On the basis of fundamental curves, it would be possible to build up more complicated constitutive equations with different deformation history.
