The preparing of Ti–6Al–4V alloy in laboratory conditions

This article deals with the problems connected with the preparing of the Ti–6Al–4V alloy in a laboratory conditions. For the preparing of that alloy were used technically pure titanium, very pure Al, V and Y, as well plasma and vacuum metallurgy. Main accent was focused on the purity of alloy, microstructure and such properties as hardness or notch toughness.
