Calculation method for deformations of stand and rolls to obtain products with small dimension of tolerances

The article presents calculation method for the dimensions of the stand and of the diameter of rolls to obtain products with small dimension of tolerances. Calculations have shown the existence of optimum diameters of the rolls. The calculated results of the effects of process force variance on the deformation of the stand are also given. It was shown that simpler and economical models can be often used for the practical needs. Reasons for making complicated and expensive models are discussed.
