Recent N∗ results from JΨ decays Original Research Article

Based on 7.8 million View the MathML source events collected by BES at BEPC, the events for View the MathML source and View the MathML source have been selected and reconstructed. Clear peaks are observed around 1480 MeV in View the MathML source invariant mass spectrum and near the threshold for η production in View the MathML source invariant mass spectrum. A partial wave analysis of View the MathML source data has been performed. Two View the MathML source resonances are observed with mass and width (M, Γ) at (1540−17+15, 178−22+20) MeV and (1648−16+18, 150)MeV, and are considered to be the nucleon resonances S11(1535) and S11(1650) respectively.
