Abstract
The enthalpies of formation, from the constituent oxides, of CoWO4 and NiWO4 have been determined by direct synthesis calorimetry at 1473±2 K. The following values of ΔHf° at 298 K (kJ mol−1) are reported: CoWO4, −60.8±2.6; NiWO4, −47.3±2.7. The results are compared with the data available in the literature.
