Abstract
The coincidence technique can offer a useful way to investigate β and ββ decay processes in 48Ca. In this paper the results of a preliminary experimental search are presented. In particular, here the first experimental limit on the half life of the ββ2ν(0+–2+) decay of 48Ca has been obtained; it is T1/2>1.2×1018 y (90% C.L.).
