Thermodynamic description of the CsBr–TbBr3 system

This work analyzed the thermodynamic properties and phase diagram of the CsBr–TbBr3 system using the CALPHAD method. The phase diagram of the CsBr–TbBr3 system, the thermodynamic properties of the Cs3TbBr6 compound and the enthalpies of mixing of the CsBr–TbBr3 liquid at 1113 K are calculated. Comparison of calculated phase diagram and thermodynamic values with corresponding experimental data demonstrated that the present calculations based on the optimized parameters reproduce experimental data very well.
