Abstract
The subject of the research were the static and dynamic properties of a new PVDF-based transducer. The tested transducer was a cable consisting of an internal semiconductive electrode, a PVDF material and an external electrode in the form of a thin layer of semiconductive lacquer with copper wire for providing electrical contacts. The measurements of electrical signals (elongation, force, electrical charge) received under mechanical tension are presented. Piezoelectric coefficients d and g for tension were calculated on the basis of the measurements. The results can be used to make mechano-electrical models of such transducers.
