Fuzzy solutions in electrostatics

In the past few decades, the theory of fuzzy sets has matured into a wide-ranging collection of concepts, models and techniques for dealing with complex phenomena which can hardly be analysed by classical methods based on probability theory and two-valued logic. Electrostatic problems are especially of the type where the application of fuzzy logic is unquestionably advantageous. In the paper, one of the new fields of fuzzy applications is targeted: industrial and atmospheric electrostatics. The fuzzy applications which are applied to this field, are fuzzy fault tree analysis, fuzzy automated diagnosis and fuzzy risk evaluation.
