Abstract
The paper deals with the modern approach to the lightning protection of structures with sensitive equipment. Main attention has been focused to the lightning hazard assessment, the concept of lightning protective zones, as well as on external and internal protection methods and measures selected in dependence of lightning influence on the structure and its sensitive equipment.
