Abstract
The temperature dependence of the time-resolved free exciton emission has been investigated on bulk single-crystals of CuInS2 grown by the traveling heater method. The decay consists of a double exponential curve up to 50 K. The decay-time constants of the fast and the slow components decreases and increases, respectively, with increasing temperature. From the analysis of the constant of the slow component, the radiative lifetime in the low-temperature limit estimates to be 200 ps.
