  • Abstract
    Sterically encumbered ligand (ArO)3SiS−, where Ar = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl, was employed for the synthesis of a dicoordinate copper(I) complex. The ligand creates a very hydrophobic environment around the metal center as indicated by the crystal structures and FT-IR spectroscopy.
