Abstract
Reductive substitution of Na2[Fe2(NO)4(μ-S2O3)2] in the presence of phosphines and phosphites provides a convenient, one-pot synthesis of Fe(NO)2(PR3)2 derivatives. Yields on the order of 20–30% may be achieved.
