Abstract
Reaction of Mn(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with 2,6-bis(hydroxymethyl)-4-methylphenol (H3hmmp) in the presence of sodium azide gives rise to a high-nuclearity cluster image that displays a spin ground state as high as 73/2.
