Abstract
The first diorganotin(IV) complex 1 with N′-acylsalicylhydrazide has been successfully synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra and X-ray crystallography. The complex 1 is an infinite 1D polymer with tetranuclear organotin(IV) as secondary building units, which contains five- and seven-coordinated tin atoms.
