Abstract
A new tungstoantimonate (NH4)9[SbVW18O60(OH)2]·25H2O (1) has been synthesized under acidic medium conditions and characterized by element analysis, IR, TG, UV, PXRD and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 represents the first example of Sb(V)-containing polyoxometalate with unusual Dawson-like construction. The polyoxoanion incorporates an {SbO6} unit into the center of {W18O54} cluster cage.
