Abstract
Two isomorphous cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes with mixed ligands formulated as [M(bpmp)(aip)]·3H2O (M = Co, 1; M = Ni, 2) (H2aip = 5-aminoisophthalic acid, bpmp = N,N′- bis - (4-pyridyl-methyl) piperazine) have been obtained under hydrothermal condition. X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that 1 and 2 are isomorphous and both of them hold new binodal (3,5) connected network with the Schläfli symbol of (63)(67.83). Magnetic measurement of 1 reveals that it exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling interaction.
