Abstract
A novel 3D coordination polymer [Ag(dmtrz)] (dmtrz = 3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazole) (1) was prepared under solvothermal condition and structurally characterized. The crystal structure reveals that Ag(I) centers are firstly linked via dmtrz anions to form an infinite 21 helix, which is further interconnected to four neighboring anti-parallel helices to form a 3D framework with rare non-interpenetrating 8210-a topology.
