Abstract
MePdCl[3-methyl-5-(2-pyridinyl)pyrazole] (1 and 2), PdCl2[3-methyl-5-(2-pyridinyl)pyrazole] (3), and bis{MePd[3-methyl-5-(2-pyridinyl)pyrazole]} (4) were synthesized, and structural assignment was performed by 1H-, 13C-, 15N-NMR spectroscopy. By comparison of their 15N-NMR spectra, the relationship between bond strength of the palladiumnitrogen bond and chemical shift was analyzed. X-ray diffraction analysis of 4 was also achieved.
