Abstract
Molecular structure and packing of various organopolysilanes having symmetrical and unsymmetrical side-chains of alkyl substituents, such as poly(dimethylsilane), poly(dihexylsilane), poly(methylethylsilane), poly(n-butylethylsilane), poly(n-propylmethylsilane), and poly(iso-propylmethylsilane), are examined by X-ray diffraction, and the characteristic features are obtained for those organopolysilanes.
