Disorder induced anomalous behavior: Cation conductivity of glasses and amorphous solids

While the classical version of the mixed alkali effect may be observed for glasses prepared from a melt, the weak mixed alkali effect occurs after a cation exchange below the glass transition temperature. In this paper we will give a theoretical approach of this phenomenon on the basic of the Landau–Vlassov approximation.
