  • Abstract
    A new frictional contact solver coupled with a space–time mesh adaptation method is proposed in this paper. First, the mesh adaptation method is applied to an elementary elastodynamic example and then to a frictional contact problem. The results and the efficiency of this method show its interest for computational mechanics.
