Abstract
The CO2 sensing mechanisms of an active, thick-film electrochemical sensor based on a tungsten-stabilized bismuth oxide solid electrolyte are investigated. CO2 electroactive response appears to be directly related to the tungsten dopant within the solid electrolyte layer and is dependant on electrolyte porosity.
