Semilinear tower of Steiner systems

We use a sequence of discrete Steiner systems to, simultaneously, answer a question on the classification of infinite Jordan groups and generalize a remark of Cameron on the construction of Steiner systems with given symmetry properties. The question on classification is whether there is a concrete example of a Jordan group which preserves a limit of Steiner sytems.
