Particle production and consolidation using pulsed power techniques

The development of two techniques making use of pulsed power, pulsed plasma atomisation to produce finer particles, e.g. for solders, and a combustion compaction technique suitable for nanopowders, is described, Both have been proven at laboratory scale and work is continuing to scale them up for commercial applications.
