Special functions and generating functions associated with reflection groups

This is a survey paper concerning multi-variable special functions associated with finite reflection groups. The key tool is the algebra of differential-difference (“Dunkl”) operators. The methods are illustrated for several important types of these groups. There is a brief treatment of a generating function with icosahedral symmetry.
