  • Abstract
    In this paper we establish that any well-pruned ω 1 -tree, T, admits an ω 1 -compact type I manifold if T does not contain an uncountable antichain. If T does contain an uncountable antichain, it has been shown that whether or not T admits an ω 1 -compact manifold is undecidable in ZFC.
