Abstract
We study a dynamic contact problem with regularized friction law using a Signorinilike compliance law. This induces a noncoercive variational formulation. After implicit time discretization, existence and uniqueness results are given. An algorithm to solve related time discretized problems is proposed. Numerical results are given.
