Connections between universal observability and topological dynamics

In a previous paper, an equivalence was established between real prime flows with positively separating quotients and universally observable flows. In this paper, we further study the connections between universal observability and topological dynamics. We consider the relationship between universally observable flows and flows that are prime and nonasymptotic, or distal. We end with a result involving the observability of flows with positively separating quotients.
