Some results on the moments of record values from linear exponential distribution

In this paper, we compute the means and product moments of record values from linear exponential distribution. We also derive the recurrence relations for both single and product moments of record values. In a recursive process, we show that these relations can be used to compute the single and product moments of all record values. The so obtained results can be used to establish similar results for exponential and Rayleigh distributions as special cases. Finally, we extend our results to include the moments of k-record values.
