Abstract
The concrete industry is known for its big impact on the environment, therefore the concept of Completely Recyclable Concrete (CRC) has been developed. After the demolition of a CRC construction, the concrete rubble is recycled as raw material for cement production, without need for ingredient adjustments. In this paper the design method and regeneration process are presented. It was proven by microscopic and XRD analysis that the recycled clinker contains the traditional clinker minerals. Isothermal calorimetry showed that after 7 days the regenerated clinkers reach a hydration heat which varies between 73% and 94% of the heat produced by a commercial OPC.
