  • Abstract
    The synthesis of a water-soluble dendrimer and its internal functionalisation with benzyl bromide is reported. Despite the use of excess reagent, only four of the possible six nitrogens could be reacted. These four reactions have occurred in a random fashion, as confirmed by 13C NMR.
