  • Abstract
    A new class of 2,4,6-triphenyl-1,3,5-triazine derivatives having long alkoxyl side chains have been synthesized by a Pd(0)/Cu(I)-catalyzed carboncarbon coupling reaction. These compounds behave as liquid-crystalline materials and show quantum yields higher than 50% in photoluminescence.
